Grover Charles "GO" Stroud, Jr., 48, of Orlinda, died Friday November 16, 2012 at North Crest Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be conducted Monday November 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Owen and Bro. David Fredeli officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Todd Young, Chet Claborn, Curt Mott, Jr., Bruce Rippy, Joe Henry, Jack Moore, Dennis Morris, Joe Thomas Woodard, and Harley Shaff serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be T.C. Groves, P.W. Denning, John Denning, Steve Abney, Ricky Stark, Bob Johnson, Buzz Graves, Ed Coleman, Pat Cunningham, Ken Little, Rusty Graves, Jeff Taylor and Chris Stroud. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Charles was born July 12, 1964 in Davidson County. He was a graduate of the East Robertson High School Class of 1982. Charles was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, and the American Legion Dart Association. He loved playing darts, golfing, playing ping pong, and boating. He was the co-owner and operator of Supercutz Home and Lawn Care. Charles is survived by his wife: Julie Henry Stroud of Orlinda, son: Seth Stroud of Orlinda, daughter: Jackie Stroud of Cross Plains, parents: Grover Charles and Lettie Ross Stroud, Sr., of Orlinda, brother and sister-in-law: Chris and Angie Stroud of Memphis, sisters and brothers-in-law: Cathy and Pat Cunningham of Pleasant View, Connie and Ed Coleman of Cross Plains, In-laws: Larry and Janyth Henry of Cross Plains, brother-in-law: Joe Henry and wife Lacy of Pleasant View, sisters-in-law: Beth Rippy and husband Bruce of Cross Plains, Jane Mott and huband Curt of Orlinda, six nieces and seven nephews.
